High Volume Molding
Schnipke has invested in state-of-the-art facilities, infrastructure and technology to meet and exceed customer demand for quality, service, and value in high-volume molding applications. Advanced molding machine process controls, a significant investment in part handling robotics, and automated material handling systems allow us to produce high volume, small to mid-sized components in the most economical environment.
Limited Volume Molding
With a work cell production process, The Schnipke Engraving Co. has the capacity and the capability to handle the smallest of production runs in the most efficient and cost effective manner. Rapid mold changes coupled with a highly trained and flexible workforce allows our manufacturing process to minimize down time and maximize run time.
Materials
Schnipke's molding experience includes most temporary contact polymers used in disposable and limited use medical devices: LCP, PEI, PA, PSU, PC, ETPU, PPO, PBT, TPE, PUR, POM, ABS, PMMA, PPA, PPS, PEEK, HDPE, and PP. In addition Schnipke has staff expertise in many bio-absorbable materials.

Micro Molded Parts
Schnipke's state-of-the-art micro molding capability is structured for low to high volume production, automated molding, and ultra precision tolerance parts. Schnipke is capable of molding components weighing as little as 0.02 grams. Process controls are in place to allow for tolerances tighter than ±0.001" in fully automatic presses. In addition, Schnipke's quality and repeatability are enhanced, while product cost is decreased, via MOLD FLOW® software. MOLD FLOW® is a fully integrated real time process control program that allows our technicians the opportunity to correct in-process "glitches" before they become real quality problems.
Medical Component Molding
Schnipke medical component molding, and device manufacturing/assembly services, offer customers production and assembly capabilities that are ISO 9001-2000 and/or ISO 13485-2003 certified. Schnipke excels at providing solutions for OEM medical customers that require full product validation, lot traceability, controlled documentation and repeatable, quality driven processes.
Over Molding
Schnipke has the capability and the expertise to handle a wide variety of insert and over-molding solutions. Reel to reel molding of contacts, over-molding with TPR materials, cable over-molding, and component encapsulation, are but some of the types of over molding services that we offer.
